Confession of the Day

Confusion lives in my heart
I am at a loss for understanding
a life that I was not meant to live.
Surviving through several
reincarnations
only to wake up in again
the wrong time
When does the journey end
Words spoken with
confidence and
truth are mistaken
for the bullets
this generation so carelessly
shoots
while
words unspoken are taken for
anger and depression
Yet quite simply
I am tired
of the mass regressions
we place on
one another
causing our own
oppression
Confusion lives in my heart
and I hope to
wake up one day
with just that much
more
comprehension
